Los Chorros Waterfalls Park Details
The waterfalls are a perfect half-day morning side trip! They are less than an hour drive from San Jose, between Alajuela and Grecia – near a little town called Tacares.

The entrance fee is $6 for foreigners, $5 for residents, $4 for Ticos, and $2 per vehicle. It’s safe to park, and there are nice bathrooms, changing rooms, and running water.
Bring your swimsuit and a picnic!
